Neerja Chaturvedi is a professor of history at St. Thomas Aquinas College.  She earned her Ph. D from Michigan State University, M.Phil from Jawaharlal Nehru University and B.A. (Hons) from University of Delhi. Her major field of study is colonial and post-colonial history.

Research Interest:  Imperialism, History of Modern India, Immigrant History and Globalization, Human Rights.

Current Research: Globalization and its impact on cultures in South Asia. This research includes an examination of changing trends in education and their impact on socio-cultural shifts in India.
