Bob Murray is the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences and a Professor of English.  His research interests include 19th Century American Literature, particularly Nathaniel Hawthorne, as well as Composition Theory and African-American Literature.  He holds a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in English from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.

He has been at St. Thomas Aquinas College since 1998.  Before coming to St. Thomas Aquinas, Dr. Murray taught at the Virginia Military Institute, Rutgers University, and Princeton University.
